RiverCamps

RiverCamps on Crooked Creek is a gated St. Joe community along Crooked Creek, West Bay, and the Intracoastal. North of Panama City Beach, it pairs boardwalks and a boat launch with a fish-camp spirit centered on the pavilion.

Boardwalks at RiverCamps on Crooked Creek

Gated living on Crooked Creek and West Bay, in Bay County.

Association materials describe a boat launch and day docks on Crooked Creek’s channel toward West Bay, roughly seven miles of trails and boardwalks, and a waterside campsite with a fire pit for owners. The pavilion is the social heart: a pool, grills, and a screened room. Kayaks, paddleboards, and pickleball show up on the amenity list.

The soundtrack is marsh and birds. Beaches, Pier Park, and groceries are a deliberate drive; published guides put the sand about ten miles away.

Wild Heron is its Lake Powell cousin, west of the beach and also in Bay County. Breakfast Point is the sidewalk neighborhood closer to the sand and the schools, and Bay Point offers golf and a marina on Grand Lagoon.
