Tapestry Park is a sidewalk neighborhood inside Panama City Beach city limits, between Panama City Beach Parkway (US 98) and Hutchison Boulevard, just west of Alf Coleman Road. The Gulf is about a mile south.

What it's like

It was planned to feel like an older town: vintage-style lamp posts, underground utilities, homes set close together, and streets named for cities: Columbus, Cicero, Coral Gables, Geneva. Founders Mark and Susan Tanney laid it out on a 72-acre parcel, and it was built in phases. The 2021 phase added 52 lots on Lyndell Lane, north of Middle Beach Road. Holland Homes and Southern Coastal Homes have built here.

Shared amenities

The association's manager lists Brunswick Hall, a clubhouse with a pool, grill, kitchen and library; a second pool for children; Peacock Park, a fenced playground; tennis, pickleball and basketball courts; and dog-walking trails around the ponds.

The beach and getting around

M.B. Miller County Pier and its public beach are about four minutes away. Pier Park is about ten minutes west, and US 98 at the top of the neighborhood handles everyday errands. Downtown Panama City is about 25 minutes across the Hathaway Bridge.
