Place to stay
Tidewater Beach Resort is the Gulf-front condominium at 16819 Front Beach Road, a large west-central campus with the sand out front and Pier Park just east.

Gulf-front high-rise on the west-central strip, just short of Pier Park.
Published descriptions call it a beachfront high-rise with direct access to the sand, balconies, and more than one pool.
Life here is large-campus Gulf living: an elevator ride down and a morning on the sand. Summer and spring break fill Front Beach, and the shoulder seasons give the deck back. Some owners keep keys here year-round; others rent by the week.
Pier Park, with shops, a movie, and dinner, is a short way east along Front Beach. Russell-Fields, the City Pier, is the fishing pier on the Gulf side of the same district, a walk for the water and the view.
Frank Brown Park, with the city’s fields and pool, is there for a land day.
You’re close enough to Pier Park that the evening doesn’t need a trip across the bridge, and far enough from the busiest blocks that the morning can still belong to the sand. Laguna Beach, farther west, is the lower-rise alternative.
